Doesn’t it feel good to be back online? Up and running!?

Ok maybe not running, I’m not too athletic.
Technically….people would classify me as a couch potato. Hiding behind my computer, creating packet tracers for your enjoyment!

Speaking of packet tracers! I’ve got another one for you! Wanna see it? Well here it is! In all it’s glory! Click here to download Packet tracer Activity!

This time it’s ACCESS CONTROL LISTS with PORT SECURITY!(Switches) I also threw in there some lightly fried fish fillets.

AGAIN, the configurations are easy. Nothing too robust. I keep everything at a basic level for those of you looking to obtain your CCENT/CCNA R&S.

In the coming weeks I will be getting a bit more involved and moving slightly to more “Medium” level lab’s. Some of the labs will look familiar to you, and they WILL be! Most will be the same configurations/set up as the previous labs BUT with a twist. TROUBLESHOOTING techniques! MUWaaHAaHahhAhahaaaa

In order to be able to complete this lab, you’re going to need to know about:

ACL’s
Introduction to Access Lists
Configuring an ACL on a Cisco switch
Standard Access List (ACL) for the Cisco CCNA – Part 1

EIGRP
Routing & Switching, VLAN, EIGRP, IPv4, DHCP
Learn EIGRP for the Cisco CCNA – Part 1
6.2.2.5 Lab – Configuring Basic EIGRP for IPv4

PORT SECURITY
Cisco Switch Port Security Packet Tracer Demonstration – Part 1
How to Configure Port Security on a Cisco Switch

BASIC CONFIGURATIONS
1.1.4.6 Lab – Configuring Basic Router Settings with IOS CLI

It would also help to know the difference between VLANS and ACLS.
What is a VLAN?
VLAN vs ACL in CISCO routing

Good luck and have fun!
